I have two gluten free kiddos and they went above and beyond in service. There was an innocent mix up in our order and they went above and beyond to fix it and make sure we had the correct food. I so appreciate the attention and care to this. Great job. I feel very comfortable and safe eating with my two gluten free kiddos here. Kudos. Will eat here again.
Excellent quick service as usual. Tasty food as always. One of my favorite places in Cedarburg to enjoy a satisfying, delicious meal. Anything I've ordered is always wonderful. From ice cream, beverages, sandwiches or their to die for Mac & Cheese varieties ššš¤©
Food was subpar. The almost $8 wrap had about two pieces of chicken breast lunch meat. The chili was bland and barely warm. The mac and cheese was oddly sweet. Inside was clean. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, for what I paid vs what I got, we won't be returning.
Order half a regular Mac and a full spicy chicken kick. Once I got home I realized the spicy chicken kick was made as just a regular Mac and cheese which isn't what I ordered or wanted. Have had good experiences here in the past...not sure what the deal is now.
Amazing food
Neighborhood vibe
Kids love the Mac and chesse
I live in port Washington and came here to use a gift certificate to order take out for family. Being a custard place I thought it was odd first there were no fries or burgers so my one family member isnāt āintoā the quinoa-kale trend and settled on some sandwich. There were no options for my diabetic family member, which is typical; sugar free isnāt a trend like opting to eat like you have celiac disease. So, they cheated and got the roast beef and mushroom sandwich, I got the bmt which was fineā¦just mozerella and tomato on a ciabatta roll for $8.50. Being as we are located two towns over I knew they would need to sit in the car and not be as warm. When I arrived our sandwiches sat in a bag on the counter next to the register for about 10 minutes while they got 2 ice-creams and 3 drinks ready and who knows how long before that I told them I would be there in half hour. They were very busy. There were no clear lines to the register, while there was a āpick upā sign with the lack of organization inside the restaurant it was initially disorienting. When I ordered and read sprecher root beer on the menu I though it would be in bottles I could put in a bag, but when they brought it, they we in extra large cups with ice and I understood why my bill was so high as I didnāt specify a size with my understanding. I reached over the counter and put the drinks and ice-cream in drink carriers. When I got home the drink carrier had become moistened the right corner and in didnāt help that I should have set my purse down to open the door and two drinks fell out of the container onto the floor. Itās my fault, as had I asked I would not have ordered the sodas, typically when writing and this applies to menus, for consistencies sake you donāt list all the sodas āspriteā āmellow yellowā and then put āsprecherā in front of root beer because that implies it is separate from the other drink fountain beverages, as in, it comes in a bottle and that is misleading. The sandwiches were fine didnāt taste like much of anything, they were no longer warm but not only were they not warm from the drive the cheese had hardened to the bread and were slightly soggy from sitting on the counter. Also, the seasonal peppermint shake tasted simply like vanilla icecream and candy cane pieces sprinkled on top making it āso-soā and slightly disappointing. Again, this place is okay but I wouldnāt go out of my way to go here again or spend money, I regret spending money in addition to the gift certificate.
LOVED the roast beef sandwich on ciabatta! The garlic mayonnaise was distributed perfectly and all of the toppings were even! This is probably up there with one of my favorite sandwiches, and my fiance agreed with his chipotle chicken sandwich! I tried a bite of his, and I would have been just as happy ordering that one. This is the first time we have tried them, and a woman in line behind us had nothing but great things to say. It won't be our last visit! The staff was super friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The only criticism I have is that we also tried the three cheese and chicken mac and it seemed a little bit dry (the regular one is our fave!). The chicken on it was very yummy! When I got home, I added some butter and milk and it perked things right up again. I can't wait to treat my parents to lunch here!
Have eaten here quite a few times a year over the last 4 or 5 years and felt the quality of food and service was always good, but I had not been there in a while and the visit yesterday was very dissapppointing. Although the service was still great, the salad I ordered was smaller and not even cut up (and I wasn't even given a knife). I guess I was supposed to eat full leaves of lettuce. The sandwich literally had two very small pieces of wilted spinach, it was cold with dry bread. I decided to get a couple ice creams to make things better and ordered two single scoop build your own dishes. They were barely a scoop with a teaspoon of toppings. When I gave the dish to my wife she asked how much I paid for it. Sad as this was a place I felt I could always go and get good food. New owners maybe?? Something sure seems to have changed.
